Pastel: Nasturtiums, almost done.
I’ve continued to add color to the entire piece. There’s really only one leaf that has much detail to it- the rest are hinted at through color changes and a few carefully angled lines.
I wanted to create something with an in the garden feel to it, and I think the nasturtiums convey that very well. I’m finding the lower right leaf a little distracting, and I want to add a few details to the flower centers, but I’ll look at it again tomorrow with fresh eyes before I do anything else to this.
