Candies Completed!
Whew! It’s been a busy day in the studio, but I think I’m all caught up. First, I did another drawing for the WDE this morning before uploading both sketches to the forum. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon getting the candies completed, with only some minor touch ups remaining.
I’ve added a little black pastel under a couple of the candies on the right-hand side of the dish, and blended it into my makeshift black. It’s barely visible in the shadow areas, but it’s just enough to make the candy look like it’s resting on the plate. So here’s where we are now:
Some of the participants have been looking for Allsorts in the shapes and colors Dianna used for this image. They don’t seem to be available anymore… can’t understand why.
