Tomorrow is…
In honor of Earth Day tomorrow, I’ve decided to try an outdoor scene. Most people call them landscapes, but since I do lousy landscapes I’m going to try doing an outdoor scene instead.
I use soft vine charcoal for sketching because graphite can shine through several layers of pastel.
Next? More shadows, some sunlight, and some pretty blue water so I know where the rocks are.
Haha. Not very earth-like, is it? I’ll tell ya, I really hate the first layers of a pastel.
