Let’s Play Tag

Lighthouse II
Inks, 10 x 7
You remember how to play tag, don’t you? One person gets to be IT, and then tries to catch someone else so that they become IT. Don’t worry, you don’t have to get up and run around to play. *grin* Guess who got to be IT today?
How to Play: If tagged, write seven things about yourself that nobody else knows, and then post them on your blog so we can learn your deepest, darkest secrets! Bwahahaha! The best part? Then it’s your turn to tag seven unsuspecting bloggers of your choice to disclose their deepest, darkest secrets*. Tag your victim blogger by leaving a comment on his or her blog letting them know they’ve been “tagged.” Let them know what idiot who tagged them, and direct them to your own blog for the rules of play.
*Okay, it’s a lets get acquainted kind of thing and they don’t have to be deep, dark secrets. Is that better? Wunnerful. Here are seven things you might not know about me:
1. I value trust more than money or love.
2. I prefer open windows to air conditioners.
3. I love baking, but hate cooking.
4. My favorite household chore is cutting the grass, but I absolutely hate, despise, and loathe dusting.
5. My favorite time of day is 4 AM.
6. I’d like to live somewhere other than the U.S.
7. I know the light in the refrigerator really does go off when you shut the door.
My turn. *grin*
And so I say to the next Magnificent Seven… TAG! You’re IT!
1. Life Stories. I’m not the only one who’s picky about sketchbooks. When my drawings get better, I’m going to put ‘em in a better sketchbook. Like when my clouds stop looking like they’re growing hair. There’s a perfect 10 x 7 sketchbook in my future, and I think I know where to find it.
2. Ink Blot Test. No ink blots, just something I’d like to try doing myself someday. My grandmother did mosaics, too.
3. Make Mine Mosaic. I really love this stuff. Can you tell?
4. Daniel is on an artistic journey of his own, and he’s doing it in two languages. He started working with color about the same time I did, but he applies his paint with a knife. I, on the other hand, am not allowed to play with sharp objects.
5. EMCrorie. A watercolor artist who also enjoys crafting, we share a love of flowers, dogs and tile. Florals and still life are featured.
6. Nancy Eckles. I like everything this woman does. I never even knew I liked abstracts.
7. Ashley Lathe works with watercolors and I just love her cityscapes.
Take a few minutes and enjoy the efforts of these hard working artists, and thank you for playing blog tag with me today.
