I know what you’re thinking… she’s given up pastels for ink. Not really, it just seems that way because I’m obsessed with a new toy.
Pastels need to be protected once they’re finished. Unless I choose to frame it, it goes into a portfolio between 2 sheets of glassine paper and I never see it again. The drawings in the sketchbook need no special protection, and I can carry it around a lot easier than the pastels.
