Another Horse, Of Course!

Yep-per, I’m still playing with carousel horses. What’s that you say? I’m too old to play with carousel horses? Just because I officially turned into a 49-er this week doesn’t mean I can’t play on the merry-go-round. Heck, you should see me on the swings!

Happy belated birthday Lisa!
Love this one, the colour combination is really striking. The title gave me a chuckle too!
Thanks Rita. It’s hard to wish someone a timely birthday greeting when the exact date remains unknown, isn’t it?
I’d planned on making a cake, but I forgot and hard boiled all the eggs for other things. I had everything out on the shelf ready to go before I realized it. Zucchini bread with a candle stuck into it was substituted in the interim.
Naming these silly critters is half the fun!
Yes, Happy Birthday!!
Was it hard to fit 49 candles into a loaf of zucchini bread?
Hahaha. It wasn’t too hard fitting them on, but blowing them all out before the fire detector could go off was an experience I’ll not soon forget.
When I was in art school many years ago, my professor did a series of paintings about carousel horses. They were stunning. It is nice to see another artists woking on this subject. Your paintings are very nice.
