Holiday Happenin’s
This place is a mess!
First of all, I’d like to thank those of you who posted comments, or emailed your opinions about the box top. Interestingly, the vote was split 50-50. Maybe it’s time for a coin toss?
As you can see, the studio is still in Christmas craft mode. The pastel replacements have arrived, and are sitting on the small table, waiting to get put away. Extras go in that big cabinet, right next to the projects-in-progress sitting on the big table. Sheesh, I even have another project all over the floor of the utility room. This place is really a disaster area right now.
When I started this project, I ordered sample sheets, figuring I’d have enough colors to work with for four different designs. I have enough colors alright, just not enough of each. I’ve placed another order, and now I’m sweating the holiday deadline. Will my stuff be here in time to finish these, or will I be sending out grout your own holiday gifts this year? Sounds like the perfect way to get groutchy relatives to me.
Samples are great, for really small projects.
I did straighten the place up a bit before taking this photo. I’ll bet you think I cleaned up just for this picture, didn’t you? Ha! I lost my one and only bag of black grout, and I have to find it. It was sitting right in between two other bags of grout. How is it that the only bag of grout I really need has grown legs? I thought only albums did that!
