This is a pencil sketch from this week’s Weekend Drawing Event at WetCanvas. I’m really pleased with how close I came to getting to the baby’s likeness, but portraits aren’t easy, and babies are even tougher! No distinguishing features, no wrinkles, (no hair!) just pudgy, round, everything!

Great job with the baby - they *are* hard! The few distinguishing lines are tough to do without making them look harsh, and you did a fine job.
p.s. that environment survey was fun.
