Paint Job

New coffee maker!
New Coffee Maker
Inks, 10 x 7

The sanding and painting for the closet area is now complete. I don’t know if I’m getting the framing put in this weekend, of if the rest of the floor is coming out. I guess I’ll find out when I see which tools my husband is collecting for the job. The circular saw means framing; the hammer and chisel mean floor removal.

Today’s drawing is our new coffee maker. It doesn’t do anything but make coffee. There’s no digital clock and no automatic shut-off, but it’s the fastest brewer we’ve ever had. I’m so sick of replacing coffee makers that I almost bought a regular old fashioned percolator, but after reading a rather humorous review of this model that began “are you tired of replacing your coffee maker every year…”, I decided to give it a try.

I was completely horrified that a stove top percolator was going to cost about the same as a brand new Mr. Coffee, which I wasn’t about to buy for a third time. So, we’ll see how this one does. If it bellies up on us in the next 2-3 years, I’m getting an old fashioned stove top percolator. A red one.

And last, but not least, here’s the paint job. The only painting I’ve done all month!

Painted drywall.

But didn’t I do a wonderful job!?!
